As an Opinion Writer, your primary focus will be to write at least one article per week. The subject of your article, and the manner with which the approach the subject, are entirely your choice. To be an Opinion Writer at TPIN, you don’t even need to have a great interest in, or knowledge of politics. Our current writing team have covered a variety of issues that are apolitical, including sports, music and other cultural activities. In short: If you’re interested in something enough to write about it, other people will be interested in reading about it.
Whether journalism is something you’re interested in pursuing as a career, or whether you’re someone who has a lot of interesting opinions on different topics, writing for TPIN offers you the opportunity to gain experience in opinion journalism as well as gaining a variety of skills that can serve you well, regardless of your career choice.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
High School/Upper School Qualifications.
A good grasp of the English language.
The ability to self-motivate and produce your own work.
